Equity Lifestyle Properties just unbundled the charges for water from the base rent and are now billing it separately. The issue is that water has always been included and what they did was to take approximately 69.00 off each homeowners base rent then replaced it with a 54.00 rent increase and now bill us separately for water and there are no individual meters in our mobile home community.
The water bill has surpassed the 69.00 we were credited from base rent and has climbed higher each month. Why should anyone have to pay any bill without being able to confirm the charges. Equity Lifestyle Properties will not let us see the utility bill. Why ?? If there is nothing to hide why are we not allowed to see the cost to the mobile home park.
