Mobile Homeowners Unite

Mobile homeowners in Florida asking Equity Lifestyle Properties to see the water bill. Since January 2023 Equity Lifestyle Properties have decided to bill homeowners separately for water and sewer charges, a fee that has always been included with the lot rent. Since then the water bill has gone up 7000.00 a month for the parks water charges but homeowners don’t believe it.

We’ve talked to several people at the Pinellas county utilities and although they would not give us specific information because the water bill is in the properties name and not each individual homeowner, but did tell us that a 7000.00 increase is highly unlikely. We have written to every congressman in our area, two commissions from Pinellas county and the governors office. Where is our money going, its not towards a water bill. We dont have meters and this method of charging homeowners just doesn’t work. Our next stop once again will be the FBI. This company is being sued for these type of violations across the country so its not that far fetched that they would practice these types of suspicious activities.
