If your investing in ELS then read this .We are Homeowners Against Equity Lifestyle Properties and we have organized to bring much needed change to the mobile home community. This company has raped its homeowners for to long and have given nothing back. There are hundreds of mobil home owners complaining on our Facebook site and who were victims of Hurricane Ian saying ELS has done very little since September and the rest of the mobile home communities around the country have more than their share of complaints against ELS
Our organization is a little different with a totally and refreshing new plan. Instead of complaining in chat rooms and joining anti ELS groups, we actually promote our issues through blogs posted on the web and anywhere else that will allow us. We are funding Facebook advertising campaigns that promote our Facebook page along with reaching certain targeted audiences .
In January we started a campaign that will reach the audience of investors in ELS as well as the entire REIT community and each week we will target a different group. How does this work ? Ok so what we want to do is educate the real estate investment trust community to the bad business practices of one or more of the companies they are investing in. We cant force anyone to pull out of a stock but we can try to educate them on why they would be better off with a more ethical investment. In our case its Equity Lifestyle Properties out of Chicago and most of the mobil home community know them as ELS or MHvillage, Either way it’s all the same story all across the country. We have spent the past year traveling and collecting testimony, photos , and DPBR complaints throughout mobil home parks in Florida and what we’ve found is that there are major infrastructure problems in most of their Florida properties anyway and so how can this not eventually fall on the shareholders. Millions of dollars will eventually have to be spent just to correct the flooding issues and those are just hear in Florida. What about the issues the rest of the country has with ELS. They have raised the rents to the point where seniors who have lived here for decades have to try and find somewhere else to live but its hard because this company owns everywhere else they could have moved to so now what. This is the company you invest in and although things might look good on paper right now, ask yourself if you feel comfortable continuing after what you just read and what else you will read if you visit our Facebook group We the people getting screwed by Equity Lifestyle Properties

I just wrote a very brief but truthful blog that will go on the web in about 24 hours and after that we will promote it on Facebook and Twitter with a paid ads campaign and will target a audience of about 10,000 and see how many engagements we get for the week . Theres a lot more involved, I spend the entire day researching public records of the company,public records of the stockholders, then I look people up from public records and try to make contact through social media and then I send post my blogs on other sites so its more than a full time job but trust me it will make its mark.
