Im a hostage right now because I bought just around covid time which was at a time Equity Lifestyle Properties were scrambling to make all kinds of rule changes and rent increases especially the huge rent increase for all new buyers to “ bring you up to market value” is what they will tell you , but they were all predatory moves during a time when they knew they could get away with it because of everything else with Covid going on but now people have had enough and although we dont have much to stand on when it comes to rent increases in Florida because there is no protection in Florida for residents and rent control but we can hold them to the standards that they boast about in all of their advertising and we will do just that through social media.

Today this nazi like company sent letters to all of its mobile homeowners in all of their parks that they will no longer accept your personal check for rent which will force thousands of seniors who cannot afford internet to physically have to go to Western Union to make payment. In what world are we being forced to use 3rd party vendors for anything ?? Its just another expense the company decides to join but the residents are the only ones paying for it. This is absurd and in the last two hours Mobile Homeowners Unite has gotten over 1000 emails and the letters just came an hour ago so If you are looking to live in a peaceful community please take heed of this warning and stay far away from ELS Properties or MHvillage advertising.
