If you live in an Equity Lifestyle Properties mobile home park then you know the deal. More money less everything else and this includes maintenance, but why ??

Below you will see an ad on Indeed for a maintenance tech, it happens to be in a mobile home park that I am very familiar with and I can tell you first hand that our current and previous maintenance guys didn’t do shit as far as the items in this job description .There are a bunch of park related daily maintenance chores that Ive never seen our maintenance guy do but have seen many third party vendors doing. We have a service that cleans our clubhouse and bathrooms , why shouldn’t our maintenance guy be doing this . Were being double dipped. Were paying high lot rents, were being raised more frequently and getting less , all the while an ELS maintenance tech gets a really nice looking package with a medical and dental package and we’re paying third party vendors to do what the maintenance guy should be doing.
