Mobile homeowners at Clover Leaf Farms living in a swamp while Equity Lifestyle Properties ignore old residents as they concentrate on the new homes

Equity Lifestyle Properties owns Clover Leaf Farms Mobile Home Park in Brooksville Florida make no mistake about it. Its actually a pretty decent place “ the new section anyway” but homeowners who have been here for decades are being left behind. Flooding in the park has become a regular event when it rains and mud everywhere . After what I saw there are some major health issues that can come with this type of flooding and Im not an inspector or engineer but I saw several areas under construction that could be in violation of EPA standards, and we are in the process of contacting the proper authority to go take a look.

ELS has flat out not responded to any residents and the HOA said they won’t even acknowledge them. There are many residents who are in fear of calling the proper authorities because they are constantly being threatened with evicting if they open their mouth, so much so that the residents I interviewed only agreed if I kept their names private. This is how ELS operates and why I do what I do.

This is exactly what I experienced almost 4 years ago and what brought me here. When I started asking questions I was chased out of the office , called a Yankee by the manager and told if I didn’t sign a tree waiver I would have to leave the property after I already purchased my home. I was a little frightened, but not anymore.

False advertising is what started my crusade against ELS. Being from out of state I researched mobile home parks in Pinellas County and started looking at homes. Down Yonder Village in Largo was reviewed as a 4.9 mobile home park in Pinellas County. The brochure on MHvillge website and My MH community were showing the sign at front entrance that said 55+ mobile home park and when I arrived the front sign said Age Qualified as we pulled in our new driveway and watched a crack head drag all his belongings through the neighborhood on a tarp. So this company will stop at nothing to deceive people every step of the way. Buyer Beware and ask who owns the property
