Floridas legislation is favorable to companies like ELS and they have experts on their payroll that know how to use this to their advantage. When social security goes up 5 dollars, Equity Lifestyle Properties will raise your rent 7 dollars until they squeeze every last drop of your money and you give up.

Maintenance is a joke, I read a review today about ELS and it was a 5 star review and it said: ELS is a great place to work and the pay is very good. Now I know this is not a real review, first of all the pay is crap. Maintenance workers start at 14.00 an hour so the phrase you get what you pay for definitely holds true in this case. Managers make 40,000 plus bonuses if you come in under budget and so thats why your light poles aren’t repaired and other areas of your community neglected. Shareholders dont make much money from dividends so it seems the only people getting richer are the board of directors. They neglect the smallest of issues and spend more time and money trying to retaliate against you and trying to evict you when they could have easily taken care of the situation for a fraction of the cost but its about the control. Equity lifestyle properties treat their residents like garbage the very people who support their greed and high salaries. How can this be allowed??

We dont have a lot of resources to fight these corporations but we have social media and these blogs no doubt have slowed sales in Equity lifestyle properties mobile home parks but thats not enough. The stock has been in a decline now for 7 months and that’s something to smile about unless you invest in the company, but thats not enough either.

We have to get behind a candidate that can get the needed changes to legislation done. We need to support only those who will support us
