Today was a practice run for Down Yonder led by our HOA president TMD in preparation for a statewide picket being organized against Equity Lifestyle Properties. ELS has raised the rent double what it was last year and unbundled the water at the same time , so its no longer included in our base rent.

Equity Lifestyle Properties have ruined once beautiful mobile home parks across Florida with lack of maintenance lack of proper management and lack of any capital improvements. The only thing this company cares about is their profit margins and residents have had enough. With a 920.00 a month rent and 980.00 if you face the muck pond ELS calls lakefront property. We feel we deserve a whole lot better than what ELS is providing. This was a trial run and there was a great turnout so hopefully when we coordinate county wide it will get the attention we need
