Heritage Plantation of Vero Beach Florida, Cimmaron Park Minnesota, Lake Fairway Country Club and Buccaneer park both from North Fort Meyers area, East Bay Oaks Largo Florida, Down Yonder Largo Florida,Village Green and Heron Cay both from Vero Beach, Pine Lakes and Emerald Lake Punta Gorda are just a few who have contacted Mobile Homeowners Unite.Org this week alone to share their disappointing stories about their landlords Equity Lifestyle Properties.

Heres a story I received yesterday from a resident of a ELS owned park and its not much different than everyone else’s story. We will fight back no matter what it takes.

    I live here . it’s all true , increased rents and less services . I am selling asap . This place is horrible

    We have lived here almost 2 years. Raised our rent from 830 to over 1050 every month now. Supposed to review once a year. Been increased 3 times already. Cant wait til next renewal. All true, gates been broke, many robberies of outside items from people especially right after the storm due to broken gates. Pools are in awful disrepair. Back pool not heated but managable now that its warming up but you have to look at broken soffit under ceiling on building. I am looking elsewhere as quite sad the way the lack of amenities we pay for keep staying broke for Some reason

    All of the statements about Buccaneer Estates in North Fort Myers is accurate. There is never any yearly signing of a renewal lease. This year the amount they are charging for pass thru tax and garbage is higher than what I received in my letter of notification about the increase. No one will return your calls and they always need to “check into it”. We are paying for advertised amenities that cannot be utilized. I just pray our home sells quickly.
