Down Yonder Village mobile home park welcoming long overdue improvements from property owners Equity Lifestyle Properties

There are a few ongoing projects at Down Yonder Village mobile home park in Largo Florida. Residents say they welcome the changes and hope it continues. A 30 year resident said “ Its not all about the rent increases, we understand rents go up and Down Yonder was always a couple bucks more than other area parks, but it was beautiful and fun to live here and we want that back”

While welcoming some of the latest improvements which includes the clean up of dumpster area with new lighting and poured concrete, as well as a revamping of the pool area and some new pool furniture, residents aren’t satisfied. “We are years behind with sound equipment in our clubhouse , our community boards should have been digital 20 years ago and the trees look like &$it” says another longtime resident.

We are hopeful that ELS continues improvements in our community. The rents are frequently increased and we expect to see some of these increases go towards our community or an explanation for another increase. The people have spoken at Down Yonder and we’re pulling together with all mobile homeowners in Florida living on land owned by tyrants

Too little too late I say. At buccaneer estates we don’t even have community dumpsters and our gate hasn’t worked in a year
