As Down Yonder Village mobile home residents are dealing with the constant flooding in our park, We’ve yet to hear anything from our management.
A week ago I wrote a post asking anyone from our HOA to confirm that our regional manager has been in communication with someone on our HOA board and someone did come forward and say yes shes been communicating with Douglass Jefferies our regional manager out of Tampa, Douglass_jeffries@equitylifestyle.com , and then I asked about why aren’t residents being informed. It was only when I called her out that some new info was posted. Its like a fucking secret what’s going on but yet its not because there are so many people in our community that know if you want an answer you better go outside and find out yourself
Let me tell you something about mobile home park HOAs , they have zero authority to make zero changes and from the people I speak with from other parks it seems they are all the same regardless of the location. They suck up to management because management plays nicey nice with people that conform and retaliate to those who don’t.
And why is anybody from our HOA having meetings with our regional manager behind closed doors and not sharing this information with residents Hmmmmm IDK but it sounds like they just don’t want residents to know.
Take a look at the management memo in the media guide we get monthly. It’s been the same for the last four months not once was the flooding mentioned . We dont have a full time manager and our maintenance guy is MIA for the most part, and when he is here, he’s not doing anything for the community. He spends his time hanging out with the select few residence that he’s friends with we have to get subcontractors in here just to mop our manor house, which is direct reflection of the high rent we are paying. I do property maintenance for some luxury condos on East Bay golf course in Largo Florida and I actually do everything. I clean the clubhouse daily, I mow lawns every week, I paint curbs and change lights and do whatever is needed for our residents and the HOA fee is 450.00 it includes garbage, water, sewer, cable tv, and full time maintenance
This company is a pack of thieves and I will dedicate my retirement to calling them out every single time they try to weasel out of doing something they are responsible for.
