As of Sept 1 2023 ELS will no longer accept a personal check for rent and since not everyone is computer savvy or even has internet at all means some will have to find their way to a Western Union to pay the rent.

The letter goes on to say how much better electronic payments help insure the security of your payment and how much you will save on checks. My check is my receipt and my walking to the office to hand my check to management is the most secure way I know.

How anyone can say you are more secure using a 3rd party to pay your rent doesn’t have any marbles in their head. Just watch the news any day of the week and find out how many people every day are being robbed using third party vendors.
