Equity Lifestyle Properties a real estate investment trust operating out of Chicago Illinois have a new doing business as name and it’s MyMHcommunity but don’t be fooled, its the same old ELS and their business practices haven’t changed.

Senior citizens all over Florida have been beaten down by this company, intimidated and in some cases retaliated against for childish reasons but the tides are turning. Sometime around 2020 while hundreds of thousands of people we dying and the country came to a halt, Equity lifestyle properties were conspiring with other REITs about what they could get away with in Florida and other states as well. They nearly doubled the lot rents in their mobile home parks , unbundled amenities and utilities that were always included in the lot rent and started charging mobile homeowners for these utilities separately . Well it didn’t go over well with homeowners. Over the past few years complaints about ELS overcharging for utilities have skyrocketed, management retaliation and intimidation is another issue in an already long list of complaints against Equity Lifestyle Properties. The DPBR which is supposed to be the policing agency that makes sure the laws put in place to protect mobile homeowners are enforced are just as corrupt as the companies they pretend to police, so we the people decided to take matters into our own hands

Mobile homeowners are uniting against big real estate investment companies like ELS and Sun Communities and telling them Bring it on.

Over the past few years there have been a half dozen or more news worthy stories about how this company is treating its residents and none of them are good stories. ELS has been pillaging seniors and all of their residents for years now with unfair pass through charges , unreasonable rules and regulations and just plain rudeness. We are not going to tolerate this kind of behavior anymore.

The people are speaking up and if our lawmakers aren’t going to listen to us then its time to change our lawmakers. We have the ability to vote for people who will listen and we have the ability to let the country know about who these people are and what they stand for, and so this is just one way how we do it.
