Equity lifestyle properties has had several shell companies over the last decade. Im not really sure why but the last one was MHvillage.com, this newest one is My MH Community on Facebook and on the web its myMHcommunity.com. I don’t know why they are changing the spelling on Facebook, all I can come up with is we flooded Facebook with blogs about MyMHCommunity.com that they had to change the spelling. This should take care of that

These two shell companies are advertised as the place to go if you’re looking for a mobile home but nowhere does it say Equity Lifestyle Properties. Equity lifestyle properties aren’t great landlords and so its my guess that changing the names of its shell companies takes the bad publicity away from the home company but we are on it. I will continue writing blogs about ELS under the new Facebook spelling of My MH Community

This company wants to control every aspect of your life. Here is what will happen if you buy a home on their property. You wont be able to officially buy the home until you get vetted. If you pass the background and financial paperwork then you can purchase the home.

On day one you will be told your rent just got raised about 100 bucks more than what the seller is paying now. Then you will be required to sign waivers that say you will be responsible for all the trees and shrubbery that is on the lot your home is on that you are renting because the land doesn’t come with the house. After that you’ll be told you cannot plant anything in the ground and you cannot do anything to your home without asking permission from them.

You wont read any of this on the My MH Community Facebook page and you wont find anything about this on the MyMHCommunity.com website either because thats the ELS way
